14 Mounting Operators to RS-500/600 Series Doors

Mounting Manaras Operator to RS-500/600 Series Doors – The next few pages explains specific information

with regards to mounting a Manaras on a RS-500/600 Series door.

Prior to mounting the Manaras it is important that you read all the information contained within

this document and the Manaras Installation and Instruction Manual provided with the door.

Failure to do so could result in severe personnel injury or damage to equipment!

For more detailed information on mounting, wiring and operating the Manaras refer to the Manaras Installation and

Instruction Manual provided with the door.

Sprockets are mounted as follows on RS-500/600 Series Doors:

Size 50-12 (small) goes on the door. Size 50-23 (large) goes on the motor. See drawing below.

NOTE: Manaras GH Operator can be mounted in its normal upright position for all options. However it

may be necessary to remove and re-install the chain and pulley on the opposite side to prevent chain

interference. Refer to Manaras Opera GH Installation & Instruction Manual if your operator is a

gear head operator.
